For a time, online casinos and Paypal did not seem to work well together. Paypal, fearful of dealing with online gambling operators (and rightfully so) were enforcing a ban on doing any business with them. And for a while, it was the smart decision as all over the world laws and regulations varied from country to country on the legality online gambling.
But now, the online banking service provider has decided that the futures looks good for the industry as many companies are currently bringing their outdated and unfair regulations into compliance with fair trade regulations. Thankfully for players all over the world, Paypal is doing the same by now accepting money transfers to several online operators.
Paypal is the leading online banking service provider and is a subsidiary of eBay. Paypal is a fast and convenient way to transfer money through electronic debit from your bank account or by a credit card. It is used my online vendors, individuals and business across the world.
As of July 2009 Paypal has begun accepting online transfer from casino gambling operators including top names like 32Red.com. The company, who were originally operating in the UK under the name Paypal (Europe), is now operating from out of Luxembourg.
Unfortunately U.S. online casino players are still not being accepted by Paypal however, when regulations do firm up in the country it is believed that Paypal will be in an excellent position to jump into the billion-dollar a year online gambling industry in the U.S.
