If you play a lot of online poker and are unfamiliar with rakeback, then I strongly recommend you read this article.

Rake and rakeback explained

Every time you play poker, the poker rooms take a small percentage of every pot in cash games and of every tournament buy-in. This is called the ‘rake’. On average, rooms take 5% rake but it can differ from a poker site to another. Rake is simply how poker rooms make money. The concept of rakeback is simple. You receive a free percentage of what you’ve raked back!

How can I receive rakeback?

In order for you to get rakeback on a poker site (that offers rakeback), you need to sign up to this one site through an affiliate promoting this specific room. Some affiliates – rakeback providers – can pay up to 40% rakeback. Sometimes more.

In order to save themselves money, online poker rooms do not advertise publicly on rakeback and receiving rakeback can only be achieved through an affiliate. Well, 99% of the time. For the simple fact that he referred you to a room that he promotes, the affiliate receives a small cut of your rakeback as a ‘reward’ for bringing you to the poker room. Don’t worry, the cut the affiliate takes from what you’ve raked is really lilliputian compared to what you will receive as a ‘rakeback player’.

Rakeback payments to your poker account can be made every day, every week, bi-weekly or simply monthly, it is all up to the poker site in question and its internal processes.

The benefits of rakeback for the poker player

Rakeback is like an ongoing bonus and many unaware players do not take advantage of it. Many players do not even know they are paying rake to poker sites every single time they play a hand at their tables! The benefits of playing with rakeback are simply tremendous. For professional players and to take an example, it helps them cope more easily with the unevitable swings of the game during losing months. If you are starting out with online poker, it can help you build your bankroll faster and turn you into a winning player if you’re breaking even.

If you’re playing without rakeback, you’re not playing online poker as profitably as you should. As a serious player and especially if you play a lot, it is crucial that you get rakeback.

There are absolutely no drawbacks at all in receiving rakeback! It is perfectly legal and anyone can get a percentage of their rake back. Don’t leave money on the tables! Don’t let the rake beat you, even if you just play small stakes occasionally. Rakeback only has positive aspects and it doesn’t cost you any money! The more hands you play, the more rakeback you receive!

Always try to find out if the room you’re interested in playing at offers rakeback to its players before you even think about signing up. If you register a normal account too quickly, you aren’t sure you’ll be able to ‘retag’ your account to rakeback afterwards. Just a little tip.

If you’re interested in trying out a US-friendly online poker room where you can receive a massive sign-up bonus of up to $1,000 and 40% rakeback paid into your account weekly, then please feel free to visit luvinpokerrakeback.net/.

Atleast there is a rakeback cause even though paying rake is just a little percentage, if you would sum it all, it is a big thing that we shouldn’t just ignore.
