Texas Hold’Em Poker is a variation of traditional poker as the name suggests. Poker is one of the most popular games in a casino. People who are fond of gambling would surely learn to play poker before graduating to other games. That is why there are so many variations to poker like Pai-Gow poker, Texas Hold’Em Poker, three card poker, five card poker, seven card stud poker, and so on.
Like any other game it is interesting to find out the origin of the game. Poker itself originated in France. Texas Hold’Em Poker was initiated in Robstown in Texas during early 20th century and became popular when it reached the big cities like Dallas, Texas, around 1920s. Since the World Series Poker included Texas Hold’Em Poker in their series starting from 1970s it has gained considerable popularity. Now it has become a major casino game all over the world.
As usual, like any other poker game there is a pot which consist the money the players have bet in the beginning of the game. The person with the highest card of a best five card hand wins the pot.
Once the players have placed their bets in the pot, every player is dealt two cards which are called ‘face down’ cards or ‘pocket’ cards. These cards are most important as these are the key cards of the player. Next, the dealer will deal five cards face up on the table which are called ‘community cards’. Community cards are to be used by all the players along with their own two cards to make a winning hand. The community cards are dealt in parts. First three cards are dealt and players have to bet, then one card and another round of betting would continue before then the last card.
The aim is to form a straight five (2, 3, 4, 5, 6) or a flush (all clubs, hearts, spades, or diamonds) or a full house (a pair and three of a kind) etc. This game will finish with a show down where all the players will show their cards, where the person with the best hand will win. The winning hand would have best combination of pocket cards and community cards. One needs to declare only the best five cards out of seven that they have.

Additional information on myour blog, Texas Hold’em is a deceptively simple game to learn but a harder game to master.
Each player is dealt 2 personal cards and then 5 community cards are turned up on the board. You make the best 5 card hand using any combination of the seven cards.
To cite an example,i will use a low limit structure of $2/4.
There are 4 betting rounds and the first 2 have a limit of $2 and the last 2 rounds have a limit of $4. You must bet or raise only the amount of the limit for that round.
